Welcome to Poisson Wavelet Denoising (PoissonWaveDen) Toolbox for Matlab Version 6.0 |
We have implemented several procedures (scripts) to help you discover properties of wavelet shrinkage estimators for Poisson counts. There is an accompanying paper that describes the mathematics behind each procedure available in the toolbox. The following table summarizes the procedures you will find in the toolbox
The software for the modulation estimators is copyright from A. Antoniadis & T. Sapatinas; the software for the BMSMShrink estimator is copyright from E.D. Kolaczyk; and the software for the l1-penalised likelihood method is copyright from S. Sardy, A. Antoniadis & P. Tseng. Please contact these authors for any further information. The PoissonWaveDen toolbox is copyright from P.Besbeas, I. De Feis & T. Sapatinas (see copyright.m) All the scripts in the PoissonWaveDen toolbox make use of the WaveLab802 toolbox, except the codes for the l1-penalised likelihood method that are based on the WaveLab802 toolbox as well as the Wavelet toolbox of Matlab. Nine extra Matlab procedures are available in the PoissonWaveDen toolbox: · exampleBATSE.m, Simulexample.m and Simulations.m contain the scripts used to illustrate the various wavelet shrinkage estimators on both simulated and the BATSE data; · MakeIntensities.m, MakeNoisyIntensities.m, printFigure.m and lprint.m contain the scripts used by Simulations.m to generate the artificial Poisson intensities and the Poisson data, to print the figures, and to print in a table format the results; · mainbinning.m and binning.m contain the scripts used to show the performances of the various wavelet shrinkage estimators on the BATSE data. In the PoissonWaveDen toolbox there are also six .mat files, burst138.mat, burst185.mat, burst207.mat, burst474.mat, burst551.mat, burst845.mat, containing the BATSE data. |
