Undergraduate studies at the University of Aston, Birmingham, Great Britain (B. Sc., 1987), graduate studies at the University of Nottingham, Great Britain (Ph.D., 1991). He has worked at the University of Edinburgh (Postdoctoral Fellow, 1991-1992), University of Cyprus (Lecturer, 1992-1995; Assistant Professor, 1995-2002). Associate Professor since 2002.
